According to National Cancer Registry (2003), nasopharyngeal cancer is most common to male than female.

A total of 1125 cases of nasopharyngeal cancer are recorded
-
The male recorded 825 cases (73.3%) and women recorded 300 cases (26.7%).

Chinese has the highest number of nasopharyngeal cancer with 717 (70.8%) cases
-
It is followed by the Malay with 274 (27.1%) cases and Indian with 21 (2.1%) cases.

People from age 40-49 are recorded the highest cases of nasopharyngeal cancer. There are 347 (36.3%) cases from 1125 cases


2006

According to National Cancer Registry (2006), nasopharyngeal cancer is most common to male than female.

A total of 981 cases of nasopharyngeal cancer are recorded

The male recorded 746 cases (76%) and women recorded 235 cases (24%).

Chinese still has the highest number of nasopharyngeal cancer with 427 (68.5%) cases. It is followed by the Malay with 189 (30.3%) cases and Indian with 7 (1.1%) cases.

People from age 50-59 are recorded the highest cases of nasopharyngeal cancer. There are 292 (29.77%) cases from 981 cases
