Chemotherapy is drug therapy that can stop these cells from multiplying. However, it can also harm healthy cells, which causes side effects.
Side effects from this treatment is varies depending on the type of chemotherapy, the common ones are nausea, vomiting, tiredness, feeling of warmness and hair loss. Modern treatment with anti vomiting medicine may help side effects. Healthy cells usually recover after chemotherapy, so most side effects gradually go away.
